On Instagram, the pop star shared a series of striking photos commemorating the third anniversary of her hit single “Flowers.”

In her post, she wrote, “3 years since the release of Flowers. Still madly in love with this song. Thank you for continuing to listen, I love making music for you. XoMC 💋 🌹.”

The singer looked radiant in a daring one-shoulder little black dress with a thigh-high slit, paired with sky-high black pumps and a chic shoulder bag. She posed both outside and inside a sleek black sprinter van, showing off her edgy, confident style.

“Flowers” first dropped on Jan. 13, 2023, as part of Cyrus’ album Endless Summer Vacation. The track, widely regarded as a self-love anthem, became an international sensation. It topped charts in over 40 countries and spent eight non-consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100—her first number-one hit since “Wrecking Ball” in 2013.

The song has earned a string of impressive achievements. According to IFPI, “Flowers” racked up more than 2.7 billion subscription stream equivalents globally, breaking multiple Spotify records. It was the fastest female song to reach two billion streams and held the record for the most-streamed song in a single week with over 100 million streams.

Fans and critics have praised the lyrics for their empowering message of self-care and independence. Many interpret the song as a response to Bruno Mars’ “When I Was Your Man,” turning heartbreak into a message of strength.

Lines referencing the 2018 Woolsey Fire and her past relationships add a deeply personal touch to the hit single. “Flowers” also won major awards at the 2024 Grammys, including Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance.

Cyrus’ longtime collaboration with producer and now-fiancé Maxx Morando played a key role in crafting the album. Morando, who worked closely on Endless Summer Vacation, has been a constant partner in both life and music for the past four years.

Alongside celebrating her musical triumph, Cyrus recently announced her engagement to Morando in December 2025. The pair have been together for four years, often sharing glimpses of their life together while keeping much of it private.

The singer made a stunning appearance at the 2026 Golden Globe Awards, where she showcased her bespoke engagement ring from jewelry designer Jacquie Aiche. Described as having a “boho-rock vibe,” the cushion-cut stone sits on a 14-karat yellow gold band.

Beyond “Flowers,” Cyrus is keeping busy with music and collaborations. She recently reunited with her godmother, Dolly Parton, for a new rendition of Parton’s classic “Light of a Clear Blue Morning,” joining other big names like Reba McEntire and Queen Latifah.

Proceeds from the project will benefit pediatric cancer research, showcasing Cyrus’ dedication to meaningful causes beyond her music career.

Fans can expect more creative projects from Cyrus in the coming years. With her Grammy-winning track record, her engagement to Morando and her ongoing artistic evolution, Miley Cyrus is proving that she continues to grow both personally and professionally.
