President Donald Trump's granddaughter, Kai Trump, shared her first post-surgery photo as fans sent prayers and well-wishes.
On Wednesday, Jan. 14, the 18-year-old daughter of Donald Trump Jr. and his ex-wife, Vanessa Trump, took to Instagram with a duo of snaps.

"I recently visited one of TGR [formerly Tiger Woods Foundation]’s Learning Labs where kids are given a space to grow and further their education beyond the classroom," Kai captioned her update. "I love seeing organizations that are actually putting in the work to create pathways for kids to learn, build confidence, and chase their goals! Link in bio to donate ❤️."
In the featured image, Kai—an aspiring professional golfer who verbally committed to playing for the University of Miami—smiled while wearing a red, floor-length dress. She also notably sported a bandaged left arm from just below the elbow through to her hand. The second picture featured Kai in her red gown with her mother, 48, donning a black dress while posing beside her.

In the comments, some fans who didn't know about Kai's surgery expressed concern. One wrote, "Aw, what happened to your arm. 😩." as a second echoed, "Baby, what happened to your arm?"
Many other Instagram users sent healing vibes to the POTUS' granddaughter. One follower shared, "I hope everything is healing properly 🙏🏻."
Another commented, "Hope your hand is healing; want to see you back on the course."
"Beautiful ❤️Quick recovery for the wrist❤️," a different follower wrote," as someone else declared, "Beautiful. God Bless and have a speedy recovery."
"Praying you make a full recovery," yet another wrote, as others commented strings of praying hands emojis, "🙏🙏🙏🙏."
Meanwhile, one fan pointed out, "Literal twins!!! I can’t take it! 😍😍," of the mother-daughter duo.
On Jan. 7, Kai announced via Instagram that she went under the knife.
“Today, I underwent left wrist surgery to address injuries to the stabilizing tissues of my ECU tendon and damage to my triangular fibrocartilage complex,” she wrote. “The surgery was successfully performed at the Lehigh Valley Orthopedic Institute by Dr. Thomas Graham, Chief of Jefferson Orthopedics. I look forward to my rehab ahead in the coming months. I am excited for the ability to play golf pain free!”

Donald, 79, has five children between his three wives: Ivanka, Donald Jr., and Eric Trump with the late Ivana Trump; Tiffany Trump with his second wife, Marla Maples; and Barron Trump with his current wife, Melania Trump.
